oops forgot to post the "sorry I never update here anymore" opening everyone uses now. Please ignore the horrible art they randomly picked off of google images to accompany the article.

Stole this from :iconrianmiller:

Joel and I decided to hold off on offering physical copies of Forever Winter #1 andMan-Gull #1 for sale until after SPX to make sure we had enough copies to go around. Well, guess what...SPX is over and the Stock*Pile Comics Webstore [link] is officially open for business.

You can now order digital downloads of both of our books for a little over $1 or actual comics that you can hold in your hands for $5 each, plus shipping. I'll be signing every copy of Man-Gull I sell unless a request is made not to, and I'd imagine that Joel will do the same with Forever Winter.

For any newcomers, here's a rundown of what we're selling:

MAN-GULL #1 by Rian Miller

Normally, a double dismembering would draw the attention of every law officer in the small town of Pleasant Point. However, with a string of serial kidnappings keeping the majority of the police force busy, the weight of this bizarre case falls solely upon the shoulders of Detective Nick Obecks.

Who is behind the disappearances of multiple young women? What would compel someone to cut off both of poor John Moxon's arms? And where is Nick going to sleep now that his girlfriend has kicked him out? Find out in Man-Gull #1.

FOREVER WINTER #1 by Joel Lolar

Following the one clue at his disposal (the name "Elrik"), James sets out into a post-apocalyptic New England to track down his father's murderer with little more than a coat on his back and a sword at his side. Nothing but the harsh, unforgiving elements and untold miles of snow-covered roads stand between James and his bloody revenge.

My boarding passes are printed, the Luggage is packed and by the door, the ipod is charged.

Tomorrow I head down to the lovely land of Maryland, where me and :iconrianmiller: in search of fame and fortune at the 2011 small press expo, Where Issue one of our creator owned books "Forever Winter" and "Man-Gull" will be making their debuts.

Not in Bethesda ? I think me and Rian will be doing our best to update various social media sites as the day goes on. ALso we don't want you to feel like you're going to miss out on all the fun! Starting On saturday the 10th Digital copies of each of our books will be available for download on the introwebs.

The easiest way for you to remember all this is to head to

stockpilecomics . com

From there you'll find links to The stock*pile work blog where I imagine most of our updates will be and a link to the store where you can get your own digital copy of the books.

Post SPX actual printed copies of the books should become available at the store some time next week.

previous Journal...

when FW makes its debut at the small press expo in sept. I'm hoping it will be in the neighborhood of 40 plus pages. 42, 48 somewhere around there, I'm also hoping that the last 15 or so won't be blank. where do you come in? well as the title so cleverly hints at ,I'am turning to you my former classmates, friends, teachers and car crash onlookers for some Pinups, you know some good art to carry me along and actually look like the book is good.

go through the gallery you'll find some character sheets hanging around in there.

thanks.

Joel-

for some of you this is mandatory...you've been warned in weekly chats that this was coming.

deadline is May 1st.

any body wanna color Yesterday....... by JoelLolar for me? I was thinking it would be a nice print for small press expo but with the penciling an inking of the first issue I don't really have the time or desire to color it. Let me know.
thanks everyone for you comments on the Logo. Seems most people think the best thing to do would be to mix and match some of these pieces together.
